We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a team in Sydney on a temporary basis. This role involves utilising your expertise to manage accounting and finance tasks within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.

Client Details

partnering with a well-established Australian FMCG and manufacturing organisation with approximately $80M turnover, looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will act as a key link between senior leadership and the wider finance function. It's an excellent prospect for an accountant who enjoys a broad role and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves across both financial and operational accounting activities.

Description
Prepare and manage financial statements and reports with accuracy.
Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.




Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Ensure timely and accurate financial record-keeping.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:
Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Robust skills in financial reporting and analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Preferably SAP B1!
A solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Offer
