About the role

Support Workers are needed to join the team to work with a participant in Supported Independent Living (SIL) Accommodation in the outer South Eastern suburbs (Location Dandenong and surrounding areas). Positions are available for day, morning, afternoon, early evening, sleep overs and weekends. The hours are dependent on participant needs. This position also has the added bonus of further opportunities and growth within the organisation and field.

Key responsibilities
Work with people who have ABI and MS needs with a variety of disabilities
Hoisting, manual handling and physical support of participant
Adaptable work arrangements around peoples' individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks and manual handling
Undergo additional training such as manual handling, medication training etc.

About you
Demonstrated knowledge of disability, ABI and MS
Experience in the Support Worker or Disability Field
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)




Victorian Driver's license and vehicle
NDIS worker Screening Check (willing to obtain)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer/technology knowledge
Excellent customer service skills and genuine care and attention to our participants
Valuable time management and organisational skills
Greek language skills are a must, and necessary
