Trusted Edge Recruitment Australia is seeking reliable and motivated Food Packing Workers for warehouse and food-distribution operations around Homebush. The role involves packing, labelling and preparing food products while complying with quality, hygiene and workplace-safety requirements.

Key responsibilities
Pack food products accurately and efficiently
Weigh, seal, label and prepare products for distribution
Check expiry dates, batch numbers and product labels
Inspect products and packaging for damage or quality issues
Sort and place finished products into boxes or containers
Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Maintain accurate production and packing records
Follow food-safety, hygiene and contamination-control procedures
Clean and sanitise equipment and work areas
Wear required personal protective equipment
Report damaged products, equipment problems and safety concerns
Assist with other general warehouse duties when required

Requirements
Previous food-packing, production or warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality




Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a rapid-paced environment
Ability to safely complete manual-handling duties, with reasonable adjustments where applicable
Willingness to work in chilled or temperature-controlled environments if required
Availability for the required shifts
Legal right to work in Australia

Desirable skills and experience
Previous experience in food production, packing or processing
Knowledge of food-safety, hygiene
Experience using packing, labelling or sealing equipment
RF-scanner or order-picking experience
Current driver’s licence and access to reliable transport
Current forklift licence

Pay: $26.76 – $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
