We are seeking an experienced cook/chef to join our small cafe kitchen team here at Eugenes Cafe in Wantirna.
The ideal candidate will be confident cooking both breakfast and lunch dishes to order as well as managing prep lists and maintaining a clean and hygenic workspace. This position is perfect for someone who already has a solid foundation in a kitchen setting and wants to expand their skillset further and be challenged in a quick pace workplace.
We are a small team and all staff are required to perform all duties within our kitchen; this includes:
cooking food to order
prep
receiving deliveries
cleaning
washing dishes
daily inventory
setup and pack down
A typical workweek in this position will require 4 weekday shifts and one weekend shift.
Daytime shifts only; no nights (typical finishing time between 2.30 and 3.30pm)

Pay: $27.08 – $40.62 per hour
