This is an exciting full time opportunity for an experienced Security Technician to join the team at Sontec Integrated Systems' in Perth, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, access control, security and Parking Guidance solutions.
What you'll be doing
Carry out the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of security systems and equipment
Provide maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for existing security systems and components
Liaise with clients to understand their security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
Assist with the design and specification of current security systems
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
Support the wider team as required to deliver exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of security systems and technologies
Formal qualifications in electrical, electronic or security systems installation and maintenance
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Robust customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively with clients
Proficient in the use of security system software, tools and testing equipment
A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
