About the Opportunities

Wood Recruitment is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Public Practice Tax Accountants who may be considering their next career move.

We work with a range of accounting firms across Perth and welcome enquiries from Intermediate and Senior Accountants through to Managers, Associate Directors and Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities

Depending on your level, your responsibilities may include:
Preparing or reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
Managing compliance for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT and other statutory requirements.
Providing taxation, structuring and business advisory services.
Managing client relationships and technical enquiries.
Reviewing work and mentoring junior accountants.
Managing workflow, budgets and lodgement deadlines.
Supporting business development and firm growth.
Advising clients on complex tax and commercial matters.





Skills and Experience
Australian public practice accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance.
Relevant accounting or commerce qualification.
CA or CPA qualification completed or underway is highly regarded.
Experience with Xero, MYOB, APS, HandiSoft or similar software.
Robust communication, organisation and client relationship skills.
Leadership and business development experience for senior appointments.
