The Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Crane Technician to join our Truganina team. You'll carry out servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs on overhead cranes and lifting equipment, working autonomously on complex jobs and providing hands-on technical guidance to less experienced technicians and apprentices. This is a excellent chance for a technician who knows their trade inside and out and is ready to take on a senior, mentoring role within a close-knit, well-established team.

What you'll be doing
Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment
Diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and mechanical faults




Working autonomously on more complex jobs with minimal supervision
Mentoring and supporting junior technicians and apprentices on the job
Completing job cards and service reports accurately and on time
Providing technical input to your Supervisor on Repair After Service (RAS) quotes
Ensuring all work is completed to WCS's safety and quality standards
Participating in toolbox talks and safety initiatives

What we're looking for
Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
Extensive experience servicing cranes, hoists, or industrial lifting equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
High Risk Work Licence(s) relevant to crane/lifting equipment (advantageous)
Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians
Strong communication skills and a qualified, customer-focused approach
Current driver's licence
