We are seeking motivated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to join our team as Trainee Bus Drivers, supporting workforce transport operations across our Pilbara sites.

This traineeship offers full training and support and experience in driving Passenger buses, on minesites.

Training will be completed in Perth prior to mobilising to site.

What you'll do:
Complete structured training toward your Bus drivers licence in Perth ahead of site mobilisation
Complete site inductions and requirements prior to starting on site
Safely transport workers to and from site under supervision
Conduct pre start vehicle checks and basic vehicle care
Build toward an ongoing driving role within the business

What we're looking for:




Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (this position is a genuine occupational qualification under the Equal Prospect Act, targeted to increase Indigenous employment)
Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Western Australian Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation.
Full Police clearance
Ability to meet the client requirements of a pre-employment medical, including fitness, musculoskeletal examination and drug and alcohol testing
Willingness to undertake pre employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
Able to work a 2:2 FIFO roster in the Pilbara supporting Tier one mining companies
Robust communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude
