Virtuosi School of Music is seeking an experienced Violin & Viola Teacher/Tutor to join our teaching team at our Grange studio, commencing in Term 4.

Our mission is to develop and nurture excellence in music through high-quality individual tuition in a supportive and skilled workplace.

The successful applicant will provide individual violin and viola tuition to students of varying ages and abilities, encourage and prepare students for concerts, examinations and auditions, and work collaboratively with our teaching team. A current Working with Children (Blue Card) is required.

Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching experience, robust performance skills, relevant tertiary or other music qualifications, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Teaching hours are available on one or two afternoons/evenings per week at our Grange studio, with the potential for additional hours.

We welcome applications from accomplished violinists who also have experience teaching viola.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
