Little Sister restaurant in Cairns is looking for a skilled full time Cook with at least 3 years experience who is hardworking and organised. Little Sister is a locally owned and operated restaurant that has been proudly serving its customers since 2022.

Work experience – Minimum 1 year

Qualifications – Diploma in Hospitality

Salary: Base Salary $71500 and be eligible for future promotion.

Responsibilities:

· Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation

· Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

· Menu planning, budgeting and estimate food requirements

· Following food safety requirements

· Check quality of ingredients and quality of dishes

· Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

· Kitchen maintenance and cleaning

· May recruit and train staff

Requirements:

· Ability to work in a team

· Very valuable communication skills

· Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
