Design and Modeling: Create detailed blueprints and computer models for the hull, superstructure, and overall layout of marine vessels.
Stability and Performance Testing: Calculate weight, buoyancy, and stability, and use computer simulations to test how a vessel handles wind, waves, and propulsion.
Construction Supervision: Oversee the actual building process in shipyards, manage budgets, and source materials and equipment.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all designs follow strict national and international maritime safety laws and environmental rules.
Repairs and Conversions: Inspect damaged vessels, plan retrofits for current eco-friendly technologies, and supervise maintenance work
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
