About the role

Trident Hospitality Services Pty Ltd trading as George’s Paragon Restaurant is one of Queensland’s most iconic dining destinations, renowned for premium seafood, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and exceptional service.

Located on the Gold Coast, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding dining experiences through fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and a professional team environment.

We are currently seeking experienced Chef and Cooks to join our busy kitchen team.

Chef Positions

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service
Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost control
Ensure food quality, portion consistency, and presentation standards
Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff
Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance
Contribute to menu planning and daily specials

Skills & Experience:
Diploma in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum of one year experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment
Sound knowledge of seafood and Mediterranean cuisine highly regarded
Robust organisational and leadership skills




Excellent communication and ability to perform under pressure

Cook Positions

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards
Ensure dishes are prepared efficiently and presented consistently
Assist with stock rotation, kitchen cleanliness, and daily prep
Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with the team during service

Skills & Experience:
Certificate III including at least two years on the job training / Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum of one experience in a commercial kitchen
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Reliable, punctual, and passionate about food quality

Pay: $80,000.00 – $94,999.00 per year
