About the role

Our Client is a modular building company they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a growing construction group delivering residential, commercial and government projects across Australia.

The role
Reporting to the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments and accounts payable transactions across the Group's operations.

Key responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and payments.
Match invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and allocated to the appropriate entities and projects.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Manage supplier queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Prepare payment runs and assist with payment processing.
Maintain accurate accounts payable records.
Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations.




Support the Group Accountant and wider finance team with ad hoc duties.
About you
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Solid communication and organisational skills.
Experience within construction, manufacturing or a project-based environment would be advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and accounting systems. What you bring You are an organised, reliable and commercially minded finance professional who takes ownership of your work.
