HR Truck Driver - Crash Box

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable HR Truck Driver to join our team, specializing in the operation of vehicles with a Crash Box gearbox. This role plays a crucial part in our operations, focusing on the collection and transportation of recycled steel bins.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a High-Risk (HR) licensed truck with a Crash Box gearbox for the collection and delivery of recycled steel bins.
Ensure the accurate and timely pickup and delivery of materials while adhering to all road and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients through effective communication and prompt service.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Comply with all company policies, especially those surrounding health, safety, and environmental standards.
Assist with loading and unloading of bins as necessary, ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
Complete daily logs and reports as required for operational efficiency and compliance.
Participate in pre-employment medical testing, including drug and alcohol screenings, as part of our commitment to a safe workplace.





Qualifications
Possession of a valid HR Licence with proficiency in operating a Crash Box gearbox.
Previous experience in a truck driving role, especially within the recycling or waste management sector, is highly desirable.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments, including drug and alcohol testing.
Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to responding to clients' needs efficiently.
A forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory for consideration.
