About the Prospect An opportunity is available for a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse and domestic logistics operation. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, freight coordination, dispatch, local deliveries, occasional interstate travel and supervision of casual labour. You will work autonomously while remaining actively involved in the warehouse, including picking and packing, forklift operation, furniture assembly and deliveries.

Duties
Coordinate daily warehouse operations
Pick, pack and dispatch orders
Receive and organise incoming stock
Book and coordinate freight




Liaise with transport providers
Coordinate interstate freight movements
Complete local customer deliveries
Undertake occasional interstate deliveries
Operate counterbalance forklift
Maintain inventory and dispatch records
Complete basic furniture assembly
Supervise casual warehouse labour
Maintain a safe, organised warehouse

Skills and Experience
Experience within warehousing and logistics is essential
Current forklift licence
Current driver's licence
Ability to drive the company van and make deliveries
Freight coordination experience would be beneficial
Ability to work autonomously as well as lead a team as required
Good with your hands and able to do assembly work
Valuable communicator, organised and work collaboratively
