We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable kitchen team members to join our Yeerongpilly store.

We are currently hiring Sushi Makers and Hot Food Cooks who are passionate about preparing high-quality food and would like to grow with our team.

Both experienced applicants and those recent to the industry are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.

Positions Available

Sushi Maker
Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri and other sushi products
Prepare ingredients and maintain an organised kitchen
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
Work efficiently as part of a team
Previous sushi or kitchen experience is preferred, but training will be provided

Hot Food Cook
Prepare and cook hot food menu items including tempura, rice bowls, udon and other dishes
Prepare ingredients and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Ensure food is prepared consistently and efficiently
Assist with general kitchen operations when required
Previous experience in hot food preparation or a commercial kitchen is preferred, but training is available

Employment Type
Full time and Part-time positions available
Monday to Sunday availability




Shifts generally between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Flexible working hours and shifts can be discussed

Pay
Competitive pay based on experience and skills

About You
You must have valid Australian work rights
Reliable, responsible and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work well in a busy kitchen environment
Team-oriented with positive communication skills
Previous sushi, hospitality or commercial kitchen experience is an advantage
Entry-level applicants are welcome – full training will be provided
