Role Description The Trade Finance Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This position is responsible for managing trade finance operations, including the preparation, review, and processing of Letters of Credit and related documentation for domestic and international transactions. The role involves coordinating with banks, customers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with UCP 600, company policies,



and contractual requirements.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring transaction timelines, resolving documentation discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

The Trade Finance

Officer will also support risk management activities, assist with cash flow planning related to trade transactions, and contribute to process improvements in trade operations.

About you

Robust attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, identifying tasks that need to be done and following them through without close supervision.

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Proficient in MS Office and experience with accounting software

Experience with export documentation and international freight, and familiarity with Incoterms and HS codes (desirable).

Ability to read and check commercial terms and conditions.
