HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a commercial litigation team to find a Legal Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their legal support career. About the Role This is a varied position where you'll provide support across the commercial litigation practice, including:
Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support to the team
Assisting with file management, document preparation and court-related materials
Managing billing cycles for your author
Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate records
Preparing correspondence, legal documents and general file work
Liaising with clients, solicitors and external stakeholders

Who Will Fit This Prospect? We're looking for someone who is:
Currently studying Law, with at least 2 years remaining on their degree
Available to work at least 4 days per week in the office
Experienced within a law firm or legal environment
Confident with legal billing
Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
Professional, personable and confident communicating with legal professionals
Keen to learn and build a long-term career within the legal industry

The Details
Role: Legal Assistant
Practice Area: Commercial Litigation
Role Type: Full-time (5 days) or Part-time (4 days), permanent
Location: Brisbane CBD. Due to the nature of the practice group, no WFH is available.
Salary: Up to $85,000 package for full-time equivalent, dependant upon experience
Candidate Type: Law students with at least 2 years remaining on their degree
