We are currently seeking experienced and motivated people to join our workshop team in the following role:
Purchasing Officer/Storeperson

Key Responsibilities
Sound understanding of Parts & Accessories within the Truck & Trailer Industry
Process purchase orders/communicate with suppliers to ensure materials & equipment are delivered on time
Collate Build parts for Jobs
Obtain and compare supplier quotations
Monitor stock levels and reorder items to prevent shortages
Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries
Coordinate the storage of materials in the correct warehouse locations
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock-takes
Maintain company tool, equipment and asset registers
Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, discrepancies and quality concerns
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing efficiency
Ensure compliance with company procurement,



warehouse and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised and secure warehouse
Provide general purchasing, stores and administrative support as required over a number of company departments

What we’re looking for
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement of parts
Solid knowledge of vehicle/truck (heavy duty) parts
Solid organisational and time-management skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
MYOB experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with management, supervisors and external suppliers
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
