An experienced HR Officer is required for a centrally located mining organisation.

An established resources organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join its team in Perth CBD. This role provides critical support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring the accurate administration of HR processes, employee records and workforce data while delivering a high level of service to employees, leaders and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Managing employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, promotions, transfers and terminations
Preparing employment contracts, variations and employee correspondence
Maintaining employee data, organisational structures and position management within the HRIS
Producing HR reports and workforce data insights using Excel and HR systems
Managing employee and manager queries through a centralised HR inbox
Supporting payroll-related enquiries and liaising with Payroll to resolve issues
Assisting with remuneration reviews, performance management and training coordination
Ensuring HR records and processes comply with legislative and company requirements




Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across People Services

To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator or HR Officer role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience using HRIS
Sound understanding of employee lifecycle processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A customer-focused approach and ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications in Human Resources (or currently undertaking studies) will be highly regarded
Exposure to mining, construction or resources environments will be advantageous
