End-to-end, multi-entity payroll | Experienced Payroll Manager
A well-established Queensland property development group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its Brisbane CBD corporate office.
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you’ll work within a close two-person payroll team and process end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and diverse pay cycles.
Please note: this role is fully office-based Monday to Friday, with no WFH arrangement currently available. Standard hours are 8:30am–5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly end-to-end payrolls
Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and employee deductions
Process leave, terminations and workers’ compensation payments
Complete payroll, commission and General Ledger reconciliations
Maintain accurate employee records and payroll system data
Respond to payroll queries and investigate discrepancies
Support statutory reporting, audits and process improvements
To be considered, you will require:
A minimum of two years’ payroll experience
Previous hands-on end-to-end payroll experience
Knowledge of Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and payroll legislation
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Strong numerical accuracy and payroll reconciliation experience
Experience with HR3, broader finance functions or the real estate/property industry would be advantageous. A Certificate III or IV in Payroll Administration or Business would also be highly regarded.
