Senior Electrical Engineer, Secondary Design, Brisbane A Brisbane-based engineering business, part of a large global infrastructure and engineering group with operations across power delivery and transmission, is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer, Secondary Design, to join its QLD team.

About the role

This permanent, Brisbane-based position sits within a growing engineering function and involves leading secondary systems design projects, covering protection, automation and control, from concept through delivery. You'll be expected to take ownership of design work rather than contribute to someone else's, and you'll play a part in helping build out the QLD engineering team as it grows, which involves some interstate travel.

What you'll need




Electrical/Power Engineering degree, chartered or eligible for chartered status
10+ years of experience in the HV power transmission industry
Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects
Proficiency with MiCom, DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSS/E
