Qualified Fitter/Machinist – Site-Based Maintenance

We are currently seeking a qualified Fitter/Machinist to join an established, family-owned business specialising in plant maintenance and servicing.

Based in Moorebank, the business has more than 40 years of experience in the steel industry, including over 30 years working in plant maintenance. The successful candidate will be part of a hands-on team undertaking servicing and maintenance work across a range of concrete plants and machinery throughout Sydney.

This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems and getting the job done safely and professionally.

About the role

Your work will involve servicing, maintenance and repairs across various concrete plants and machinery. You will regularly work on-site, including accessing conveyors, platforms and stairs, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable working in different site environments and enjoys the variety that comes with mobile maintenance work.

What we’re looking for




Qualified Fitter/Machinist
Previous experience working on-site
Experience with machinery servicing and maintenance
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and comfortable working around conveyors, stairs and plant equipment
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
Valuable communication skills and a professional approach
