The Role

You will work across recent installations, upgrades and refurbishment projects throughout Sydney. The role will primarily focus on installation of fire detection and alarm systems, with prospects to develop further skills in commissioning, programming and EWIS systems.

Your responsibilities will include
Installation of fire alarm and detection systems
Installation and replacement of smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, modules and associated field devices
Installation and termination of Fire Indicator Panels and associated equipment
Installation of EWIS equipment, speakers and WIP systems
Cable installation, termination and testing
Installation of interfaces to mechanical, BMS, lifts, security and other building services
Reading fire detection drawings,



schematics and project documentation
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Testing of circuits and installed equipment
Assisting with system commissioning and defect rectification
Completing installation and QA documentation
Working closely with project managers, supervisors and other trades
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety and site presentation

Pay: From $1,050.00 per week
