An establishedFire Protection Contractor is looking for experienced Fire Electricians to join its growing Brisbane team.

This position offers a wide-ranging mix of service, maintenance and installation work across commercial, industrial and government sites throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. You will work across fire detection and alarm systems, completing scheduled servicing, fault-finding, repairs, minor works, system upgrades and new installations.

The role would suit a qualified electrician with fire industry experience who is comfortable working independently, communicating with clients and completing work to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
Servicing, testing and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and system upgrades
Installing fire panels, detectors, EWIS equipment and associated systems
Completing minor works and installation projects




Programming and commissioning fire panels where experienced
Producing accurate service reports and compliance documentation
Maintaining a robust focus on safety, quality and customer service To be considered, you will ideally have:
A current Queensland electrical licence
Previous experience within the fire protection industry
Robust fault-finding and technical capabilities
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
Current driver’s licence
QBCC and relevant fire licences are highly regarded A competitive hourly rate, company vehicle, overtime opportunities and ongoing training will be offered.
