Pakenham
Administer childhood, adult, travel and government-funded vaccinations within scope.
Assist GPs with minor procedures, wound suturing, skin excisions, biopsies and cryotherapy.
Perform wound care, venepuncture, specimen collection, ECGs and other diagnostic procedures.
Support chronic disease management, health assessments and GP management plans.
Provide health education, screening and preventive care.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications and ongoing care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with privacy, infection control, safety and governance requirements.
Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, vaccines and medical supplies.
Supervise and coordinate enrolled nurses and healthcare workers when required.
Participate in quality improvement and practice accreditation activities
Pay: $79,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
