Gang Gang Cafe & Bar is looking for a Casual Chef to join our kitchen team.

We welcome applicants with a range of experience, from junior chefs looking to build their skills through to experienced chefs comfortable managing a section. Training and support will be provided based on your experience.

We’re a busy, high-volume venue, particularly on weekends, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and works well as part of a team.

The role involves assisting with food preparation and service, cooking and presenting menu items consistently, setting up and maintaining your section, following food safety and cleaning procedures, rotating stock and supporting the wider kitchen team during busy periods.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude,



a willingness to learn and the ability to work calmly in a rapid-paced environment. Availability across weekdays and weekends is preferred.

This is a casual position paid at the applicable Restaurant Industry Award rate, including relevant penalty rates.

We offer a supportive and adaptable workplace, practical on-the-job training and regular shifts for the right person.

Pay: $34.96 – $51.54 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
