We’re looking for a Full time Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Morayfield Tavern.

Located in Caboolture South, Morayfield Tavern is a busy local venue serving up-to-date pub classics, grill favourites and smoked BBQ across lunch and dinner.

The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play an key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver consistent, quality food during service.

You’ll be responsible for
Overseeing a designated kitchen section such as grill, sauté, larder or fryer
Preparing and cooking menu items to recipe and venue standards
Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained
Supporting and training Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation
Minimising food waste and maintaining portion control
Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth service
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen throughout service





What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready for the next step
Experience working in a busy pub, bistro or similar commercial kitchen
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of your section
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
