We are looking for two experienced chefs to join our busy café kitchen in Port Macquarie.
We currently have opportunities for:
Full-Time Chef – 38–40 hours per week
Casual Chef – flexible hours, including weekends
We’re looking for reliable, motivated chefs who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in producing consistently great food.
About the Role
You’ll be working as part of an experienced kitchen team in a busy breakfast and lunch setting.
Your responsibilities will include
Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch service
Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
Completing food preparation and mise en place
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with stock rotation and ordering where required
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working as a chef in a busy café or restaurant
Can work confidently during high-volume service
Is reliable, punctual and organised
Works well as part of a team
Has strong attention to detail
Takes pride in food quality and presentation
Has a positive attitude and solid work ethic
Is available for weekend work
Qualified chefs are preferred; however, experienced cooks with a robust background in café kitchens are also encouraged to apply.
