Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Child Health Nurse to join our Remote Services team and make a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of Martu children and families across some of Western Australia's most remote communities

About the Role
Full time (75 hours per fortnight)
FIFO roster
Accommodation, board and lodging provided
Work within a multidisciplinary team delivering child, family and school health services.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver child health assessments and developmental screening
Coordinate childhood immunisations
Provide family and school health services
Support children with complex health needs
Deliver health promotion and education programs
Work closely with communities, schools and visiting specialists.

About You




Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
Child and Family Health qualification and/or relevant experience
Experience working with Aboriginal communities and remote health services
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Requirements
National Police Clearance
Working With Children Check
Current Manual Driver's Licence
Ability to travel by 4WD and charter aircraft.
