About the role

ANZPEO is seeking a highly organised, detail-focused and hands-on Accounts Officer to support the finance function across our Australian and New Zealand operations. This role will report to the Director. Working closely with clients, internal teams and the broader finance function, you'll manage day-to-day accounts processes including invoicing, reconciliations and debtor management, helping ensure accurate, timely and transparent financial operations across the business.

This is a hands-on, process-driven role requiring solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

Key responsibilities
Deposit reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Accounts payable – processing supplier invoices and payments
Preparing and issuing client billing/invoicing
Chasing overdue accounts/debtors
Maintaining and updating financial records
Assisting with month-end close processes
Preparing basic financial reports for management
Liaising with clients on billing or invoicing queries
Maintaining accurate records for audit purposes

About you
Prior experience in a bookkeeping, accounts,



or similar finance-support role
MYOB experience preferred, including exposure to foreign currency transactions
Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation processes
Experience with PAYG and other standard business compliance payments
Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
Robust attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy. High level of accuracy and numeracy
Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple accounts
Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems/software
