Pillar Commercial Projects is looking for a reliable and hard-working Trade Assistant / Labourer to join our commercial shopfitting team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our experienced shopfitters across retail and commercial fit-out projects.
A key part of the position will be driving our company van and completing deliveries between our factory, suppliers and job sites.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
Assisting experienced shopfitters and trades on site
Driving the company van for deliveries between our factory, suppliers and sites
Loading and unloading tools, materials, joinery and equipment
Site set-up, protection and pack-down
General labouring and construction duties
Keeping sites clean, organised and secure
About You We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, organised and willing to work, previous construction, shopfitting or trade-assistant experience would be an advantage.
A current driver's licence, good driving history and confidence driving a work van is essential, truck license an advantage.
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
White Card is required.
