Accounts & Payroll Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping, including data entry, approval of bills, and bookkeeping tasks across multiple locations.
Handle banking and bank reconciliations for the business
Manage payroll and related compliance tasks on a weekly basis for multiple business sites
Generate financial reports, including payroll, debtors, creditors, and other key financial areas.
Responsible for managing accounts receivable, including collections and enquiries
Responsible for accounts payable process, including preparing supplier payments




Assist with end-of-month financial procedures and reconciliations
Administrative support for the Operations and Sales teams
Prospect to be involved in business improvement projects and ownership of those activities

This is a full-time role working closely with and reporting to the Finance Manager.

About you:

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping, payroll or accounting role

· Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

· Proficiency in using MYOB

· Working knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements

· Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field would be highly regarded

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented team
