Boolah is seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Worker to join our farming team in Gunnedah, NSW.

The role will involve hands-on irrigation work, supporting the efficient delivery of water to crops and keeping irrigation systems and equipment operating effectively.

Duties will include:
Setting up, operating and monitoring irrigation systems
Checking water flow and distribution throughout irrigation runs
Monitoring pumps, pipes and irrigation equipment, and reporting faults
Assisting with routine irrigation maintenance and repairs
Keeping accurate records of irrigation activities




Operating farm machinery and equipment as required
Assisting with general farm duties between irrigation runs
Maintaining a safe and tidy work setting

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role. You will need positive attention to detail, a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous irrigation, farming or machinery experience will be highly regarded. A willingness to learn, follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team is essential.

Flexibility to work hours that suit irrigation schedules, including weekends where required, is important.

Applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence and have their own transport due to the rural location of our operations.
