Company Overview

We are currently seeking two (2) qualified Painter Blasters for an ongoing, 6-month casual contract position based out of our Elizabeth South facility.

Job Summary
Location: Elizabeth South, SA, 5112
Employment Type: Casual (6-Month Contract)
Work Schedule: Ongoing / Immediate Start
Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Visa Sponsorship: Available for qualified local applicants (Offshore applicants will not be considered)

Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Perform industrial abrasive blasting to effectively clean, de-scale, and prepare structural metal surfaces.
Coating Application: Mix, prepare, and apply industrial primers and specialized protective coatings using airless or conventional spray equipment.
Quality Control: Inspect treated surfaces and measure wet/dry coating thickness to ensure strict compliance with client and manufacturing quality standards.
Masking & Protection: Carefully mask, tape,



and protect specific surface areas not requiring blasting or painting treatments.
Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate, monitor, and maintain blasting pots, heavy compressors, spray guns, and associated industrial machinery.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures, including the mandatory use of correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling/storage practices.

Requirements & Qualifications
Proven qualified experience working as a Painter Blaster in a heavy industrial or steel fabrication workplace.
High proficiency in operating industrial blasting units, spray guns, and measuring coating thickness.
Solid adherence to workplace safety regulations and protective clothing compliance.
Must currently reside in Australia (Local application only)
