Royal Freemasons is looking for caring and committed Food Services Assistants to join our friendly team at Monash Gardens on a casual basis.

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll contribute to residents' daily comfort by assisting with meal preparation, plating, serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining space. Your dedication to great service and respect for residents' preferences will help create meaningful moments each day.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
n
Assist with meal preparation, plating, tray service, and food and beverage delivery in accordance with resident dietary requirements.
n
n
Set up dining areas and provide excellent customer service to residents.
n
n
Maintain food safety standards, including the safe handling, storage, monitoring of expiry dates, and documentation of food and beverages.
n
n
Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
n
n
Support compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S; requirements,



and accreditation standards.
n
Who We Are Looking For: n
n
n
Experience in hospitality in aged care highly desired
n
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
n
Reliability, organisation, and commitment to hygiene and safety
n
n
Knowledge of texture-modified diets, special dietary requirements, and food allergies to ensure safe and appropriate meal service for residents.
n
n
A genuine passion for supporting older people
n
Key Requirements: n
n
n
Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
n
n
Covid‐19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu Vaccine encouraged; proof of Covid‐19 vaccination required before commencement
n
n
Food Handling Certificate
n
