Retro's is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the team, drive performance and keep the good times rolling.

Located in the heart of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley , Retro's delivers iconic nights soundtracked by the best of the '80s, '90s and 2000s . A favourite with locals and tourists alike, it's a fast-paced, high-energy venue built around outstanding music, great people and memorable nights out.

This opportunity would be perfect for a solid Assistant Venue Manager ready to step up , or an experienced Venue Manager who loves being hands-on, leading from the floor and building a positive, high-performing team culture.

$85,000-$95,000 + super

Performance bonus of up to $44,000 per year, paid quarterly

What we're looking for n

You'll be a genuine people person, team player and driver of the business .



You'll be comfortable taking ownership while remaining highly visible and involved in the day-to-day operation.

You'll bring:

n

n
Solid hospitality management experience, ideally within a busy bar, pub or late-night venue
n
The ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
n
A strong presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
n
Commercial thinking and the ability to generate revenue-building ideas across all aspects of the business
n
Experience writing and controlling effective rosters and managing labour costs
n
Confidence with stocktakes and investigating stock loss and variances
n
Strong operational and financial understanding
n
A hands-on, energetic leadership style with a genuine focus on people and culture
n
A current RMLV and Approved Manager licence , or the ability to obtain them
n
