This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician looking for ongoing work in the mining industry, working across a range of heavy mobile equipment and site infrastructure.

The Role As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs across a range of mobile mining equipment.

Key responsibilities:
Carry out preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
Complete electrical inspections, testing and troubleshooting.
Install, repair and maintain electrical components, wiring and systems.
Work on mining trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and ancillary equipment.
Maintain and repair site support equipment, including lighting towers and generators.
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
Carry out pre-start inspections and report defects.
Complete maintenance records and job cards accurately.




Work safely in accordance with site procedures and mining regulations.
Work closely with mechanical trades and the wider maintenance team.

About You To be successful, you will have:
Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification.
Previous experience in mining or heavy mobile equipment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Robust commitment to safety and site procedures.
Current Australian working rights.
Ability to pass a mining medical and drug & alcohol screening.
