Rexel Adelaide is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Key Major Accounts team member to join our internal sales team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing key accounts and working closely with an external sales team. You will be the key point of contact within the branch for our Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), ensuring our major customers receive a consistent, professional and high-quality service.

Working across our commercial customer base, you will support clients in the data and communications and electrical sectors, helping them with product solutions, quotations, orders and ongoing account requirements.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday chance, with occasional Saturday morning work. Saturday shifts will generally be four hours and will be paid as overtime.

A typical day will involve

Working closely with our TSMs, customers and branch team, your responsibilities will include:




Acting as the key branch contact for designated major accounts and supporting the TSMs who manage those relationships
Building and maintaining solid relationships with commercial customers across the electrical and data and communications sectors
Preparing accurate and competitive quotes in a timely manner
Processing customer orders and ensuring they are managed through to completion
Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
Providing product information, availability, pricing and order updates
Following up quotes and identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into sales
Managing customer expectations and resolving issues professionally and promptly
Maintaining accurate customer and sales information in relevant systems (PRONTO)
Providing exceptional customer service and a high level of account support
Contributing to a positive, team-oriented and safety-focused branch culture
