Role: Database Engineer (PostgreSQL DBA) n

10+ years of database administration and engineering experience.
n
5+ years of advanced PostgreSQL administration in enterprise environments.
n
Deep expertise in : n

PostgreSQL architecture
n
Performance tuning and optimisation
n
Replication technologies
n
High Availability and Disaster Recovery
n
Backup and Recovery
n
Partitioning and indexing strategies
n
Security and encryption
n
Capacity planning
n
Database Engineering n
n
Strong understanding of physical database design and data modelling.
n
Experience supporting transactional databases, data warehouses, and analytical platforms.
n
Ability to assess and implement database architecture improvements.
n
Knowledge of database lifecycle management and governance.
n
Automation & DevOps n
n
Experience automating database administration activities.
n
Solid scripting skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
n
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
n
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
