2. TITLE
n
Position Title: Restaurant Manager
n Description: Responsible for organising and controlling the operations of the restaurant and related hospitality services at The Sir George Hotel to ensure exceptional dining and guest experiences.
n
3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE
n
This position requires a high level of proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.
n
4. FULL-TIME POSITION ONLY
n
This is a full time, ongoing position based in Jugiong, NSW.
n Standard working hours: 38 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends and evenings as required.
n
5. OCCUPATION TASKS
n
Organises and controls the operations of a cafe, restaurant or related establishment to provide dining and catering services.
n
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
n
Planning and organising special functions
n
Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
n
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
n
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
n
Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
n
Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
n
May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
n
6. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
n
Proven ability to manage and motivate hospitality teams.
n
Strong organisational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
n
Ability to plan and execute functions and events.
n
Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards.
n
Financial management experience including stock control and budgeting.
n
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
n
7. QUALIFICATIONS
n
• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field; OR
n • At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
n • Additional on-the-job training or relevant hospitality certifications may be required.
