About The RoleThe role of Upholstery Craftsman begins with having a thorough knowledge of the mechanics of furniture construction, and the many and wide-ranging combinations of stuffing and covering processes.
The craftsman needs to know straining and tensioning techniques, how various covering materials perform, the key elements of frame strength which facilitate the furniture coping with constant use, and simple design conception along with 3D visualisation.
