Gang Gang Cafe & Bar is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team in a predominantly evening-based role.

We’re a busy venue producing approximately 250 pizzas from Wednesday to Sunday, with particularly high volumes on weekends. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities
Manage the pizza section during service
Prepare, stretch, top and cook pizzas consistently and efficiently
Complete daily prep and maintain appropriate stock levels
Monitor product quality, portion control and presentation
Keep the section clean, organised and ready for service
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and minimising wastage
Follow all food safety and kitchen procedures
Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
Help train and support junior kitchen staff where required





What we’re looking for
Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role
Strong organisation and section-management skills
The ability to remain calm and consistent during busy services
A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
Weekend availability is essential

This is a full time position offering predominantly evening shifts, with service finishing no later than 10pm.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
