JOIN THE ROOF NQ TEAM

ROOF NQ is growing and we’re looking for Roofers, Carpenters and Roofing Labourers to join our Cairns-based team.

We work across a variety of residential and commercial roofing, cladding and sheet-metal projects throughout Cairns and Far North Queensland and with a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re looking for good people to grow with us.

Whether you’re an experienced tradesperson or a labourer with some roofing or construction experience, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, turn up reliably, work safely and enjoy being part of a valuable crew.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Roofers – roofing, roof plumbing, cladding or sheet-metal experience
Carpenters – qualified or experienced carpenters with relevant construction experience
Roofing Labourers – previous roofing or construction experience preferred; all levels of experience considered

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Reliable, hardworking and a positive attitude
Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in




Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
Able to work safely and effectively as part of a team
Current White Card
Relevant trade qualifications for trade positions
Driver licence and reliable transport preferred

WHAT ROOF NQ OFFERS
$60–$80 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Consistent, ongoing work
Full time positions available and encouraged for the right candidates

Work across Cairns and FNQ
