Pepe’s Italian & Liquor is a vibrant, high-energy Italian restaurant and bar in the heart of Melbourne. We’re known for our generous hospitality, classic Italian food, and lively dining atmosphere. We are looking for experienced events staff to join our team and deliver the exceptional service Pepe’s is known for.

About the Role

As a member of our team, you’ll be the face of our events – ensuring every guest feels welcome, looked after, and leaves with a memorable experience. We're all about generosity, confidence, respect and energy - if that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. We host events daily here at Pepe's across 3 key areas: the Rintel Room (30 seated, 50 cocktail), the Parlour (50 seated, 80 cocktail) and the Main Dining Room (100 seated, up to 300 cocktail).

We host a wide variety of events: weddings, corporate functions, birthdays, hen's parties - any event goes at Pepe's!

Your tasks will include
Preparing the events space for a function
Greeting guests,



making them feel warm & excited to have a excellent time
3 plate carrying events food to tables (or roaming canapes, food)
Serving food and beverages, opening bottles, and pouring drinks
Clearing and resetting tables to service standards & flipping for back-to-back events
Processing payments through POS systems for cash bars
Recommending wines and beverages to complement the menu

About You
Previous experience in a premium or high-volume events environment is essential
RSA certification (essential)
Confident, professional, and guest-focused approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
