Delaware North Australia is seeking a full-time Assistant Cafe Manager to join our vibrant Coffee Quarter venue at Perth Airport.
As Assistant Cafe Manager, you'll support the Manager in driving daily operations, leading engaged teams and maintaining premium service standards.
Whether your strength lies in refined all‐day café service or leading a high‐volume, coffee‐driven operation, this is an opportunity to step into a hands‐on leadership role within one of Perth Airport's standout venues.
Versatile availability across 7-day rotating roster is required, including early morning and eveining starts.

What you will do?
Support day‐to‐day café operations with a focus on service excellence and consistencyLead, train, and motivate a diverse team to deliver high‐quality guest experiencesChampion a welcoming, professional, and customer‐focused environmentMaintain accurate food safety documentation and ensure compliance standards are metDrive financial performance through stock control, labour management,



and cost awarenessImplement upselling and promotional initiatives to maximise revenueEnsure compliance with OH&S; and food safety regulationsPromote and uphold the quality of our food and beverage offering, ensuring staff knowledge, and guest engagement
More about you
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy cafe, restaurant or bar settingApproved Managers Card & Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateFood Safety Supervisor CertificateStrong coffee and barista knowledge, essentialEnergetic, guest‐focused, and confident leading from the floorSkilled in team development, recruitment and performance coachingExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesFlexibility to work across a 7-day rotating rosterThe application period will close on 14/10/2026, unless a successful qualified candidate is identified sooner.
