Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a unique primary healthcare setting?
We're seeking a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Oakey Health Centre on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE / 22.5 hours per week), delivering high-quality care to Defence members in a supportive and collaborative setting.
This position requires availability to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with shifts rostered within the Health Centre's operating hours of 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

About the Health Centre
Oakey Health Centre is located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC), just 3 km outside Oakey, and supports approximately 500 Defence personnel from an adult population.
The Health Centre provides a range of primary healthcare services and operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
What you'll do
Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments, vaccinations, and health promotion activities
Monitor and manage patients in a low-dependency ward setting as required
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative healthcare
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
What you bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year of Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary healthcare, or a military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship (required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
Availability to work the required roster of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
