We are currently looking for a versatile, motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in a casual position. This is a hands-on retail role that combines showroom sales, customer service, stock handling, customer deliveries and general store operations, with the opportunity to become part time for the right person.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Welcoming customers and providing outstanding service
n
Assisting with product selection and showroom sales
n
Providing product and design advice where appropriate
n
Processing sales and customer orders via POS systems
n
Maintaining showroom presentation and merchandising standards
n
Assisting with stock handling, transfers and order preparation
n
Receiving and unpacking deliveries
n
Supporting general warehouse and store operations
n
Assisting with customer enquiries, phone calls and follow-ups
n
Delivery of customer orders
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Previous retail sales or customer service experience
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
A proactive and team-oriented approach
n




Confidence using computer systems and POS software
n
Ability to multitask and work in a busy retail environment
n
Availability to work Saturdays as part of a roster
n
n
Experience or interest in interiors, renovation or bathroom products will be highly regarded.
n
Physical Requirements of the Role
n
This role includes a combination of showroom and warehouse duties and involves regular standing, walking and manual handling tasks, including safely lifting and moving products up to *****kg. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in accordance with applicable workplace and anti-discrimination legislation.
