About the role

Hillview Golf Course is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook on a casual basis to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent chance to work in a dynamic hospitality environment where you'll contribute to delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a casual Cook, you will have flexibility in your working schedule whilst being a valued member of our team. This position is based at Hillview Golf Course in Maida Vale.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and presentation in all meal preparation
Managing kitchen stations and ensuring productive workflow during service periods
Collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Assisting with menu planning and suggesting creative dishes that align with seasonal ingredients
Monitoring stock levels and contributing to inventory management
Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and used safely
Following all health, safety and food handling regulations consistently

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment,



ideally within a hospitality setting
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and best practices
Current Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain one
Excellent understanding of health and safety standards and food hygiene protocols
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Solid communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all staff members
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to casual shift patterns
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards
Passion for delivering quality food
