HR Car Carrier Driver

Apex Car Carriers is an automotive transport company specialising in the safe and skilled movement of vehicles across Melbourne. We are expanding our day shift team and are seeking experienced, reliable HR drivers who take pride in their work and operate to a high standard.

The Role
Operate a modern 3-car carrier
Safely load, position and secure vehicles for transport
Conduct pre- and post-transport vehicle inspections
Complete local Melbourne metro runs
Accurately record and report any vehicle condition issues
Maintain a clean, skilled presentation of truck and equipment

About You
Current HR Licence (essential)
Clean driving history
Confident handling high-value vehicles
Strong safety awareness
Understanding of fatigue management requirements
Reliable, punctual and professional

Pre-Employment & Compliance Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to:
Complete a pre-employment medical assessment
Provide a current National Police Check
Provide evidence of valid right to work in Australia
Supply references (referees will be contacted)
Provide a VicRoads driver history report if requested
Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing

Applicants must also be physically fit to perform load restraint duties, including climbing and securing vehicles. All roles are subject to a probationary period.
